These two companies, respectively established since 1997 and 2012, specialize in the transportation of nickel and copper concentrates, diesel, hazardous materials and general cargo. Both ensure these transport requirements using specialized vehicles. They also employ around fifty employees.
This transaction reflects perfectly the FCNQ's role in the regional economic development of Nunavik and meets entirely the objectives of Raglan's agreement for the mining development. For the FCNQ and its members, it represents a very good business opportunity and favours an increased presence in a business sector where growth can only be of benefit in the coming years.
